Writings
You'll find below, cumulatively over time, various pieces of writing on iconography and related subjects.
A piece written in preparation for a festal icon of the Transfiguration. It considers a particular way in which the light of Christ, and also the natural environment, can be painted with theological clarity.
A script for a talk that offers an approach to iconography in terms of the category 'union and distinction'.
